Don't Panic When Your Check Engine Light Comes on

A lot of things can happen or go wrong when it comes to your vehicle. But prevention is your best friend. And that's exactly why we have special sensors on our dashboard. They warn us when there's a problem under the hood that we would otherwise be oblivious to. When your check engine light comes on, be sure to get it looked at as soon as you can, to prevent any further damage to your vehicle. If you do, you can prevent a major mechanic's bill. Also be sure not to confuse your check engine light with your service engine light, which just means that you need to get your oil changed-a big difference. A lot of times the check engine light simply means that whatever is wrong is easily fixed-like a loose gas cap, or spark plug wire went awry. It doesn't always mean that something terrible will happen.
